My family of two

“The family should be a closely knit group. The home should be a self-contained shelter of security; a kind of school where life’s basic lessons are taught; and a kind of church where God is honored; a place where wholesome recreation and simple pleasures are enjoyed.”
Billy Graham

Loving you....

Loving you....

Before Mark & I got married, I remember sending him an email that basically outlined the kind of home that I prayed ours would be. As I composed that mail, I couldn’t seem to get the right words to describe my ‘perfect’ home until the words of Sandi Patti’s Love Will Be Our Home came to mind.

As I look back at the time we’ve been married – all 4 months and 15 days, I can only marvel at how God has been good to us. He didn’t promise us days without rain, but He did promise that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Instead of tearing us apart, the pain of losing Ethan & Michaela has drawn us closer to each other and to God.

Right now, my family may only be my God-sent hubby & I, but I do know that I am truly blessed.

Thank you God for my awesome family.
